Hounslow Heath Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Burglary Issued 25 February 2026	With a rise in Burglary over the last few months, we have continued to keep Burglary as a Ward Priority. Officers will continue to patrol residential areas of the ward to deter crime. They will also continue to offer crime prevention advice. We have use intelligence from our residents to choose specific hotspots over the coming months. Actioned 26 May 2026
ASB- Street drinking and general ASB around Stains Road and Hibernia Road Issued 25 February 2026	Officers continue to utilise their stop and search powers under S.23 Misuse of Drugs Act. This will focus around Bell Square and the Stains Road. Officers will also enforce the PSPO on street drinking and repeat offenders who have Criminal Behaviour Orders. We will take positive action to arrest offenders and issue ASB warnings where suitable. Actioned 26 May 2026
Vehicle Crime - Theft From Motor Vehicle Issued 24 February 2026	We will focus on a theft from motor vehicles. This will include utilising our stop and search powers under S.1 of PACE. Plain clothes patrols will also be used in the hot spots to target offenders. Actioned 26 May 2026
