Hounslow Central Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Robbery – Hounslow Central focusing on robberies PMP/21309/26 Issued 01 October 2026	Officers will be working closely with the town centre team to tackle a rise in robberies that's has been occurring in and around the Hounslow High Street, Kingsley Road, Hanworth Road and the surrounding roads. We will work with other colleagues to identify offenders and pursue action against them. Actioned 04 January 2027
VAWG – Vicinities leading from transport hubs PMP/70917/24 Issued 01 October 2026	Officers will be carrying out regular patrols to show presence around these locations and carry out any engagements along the way. We will be working with the local transport officers and the Town Centre Team to gather and share information to assist with apprehension of offenders. Actioned 01 January 2027
Theft from vehicle/conveyance PMP/12284/26 Issued 01 October 2026	Hounslow Central Ward are tackling Theft from vehicle/conveyance through bike marking events, following up with crimes on ward and CCTV enquiries. Sharing intel with local Town Centre Team to apprehend offenders and working with partners to hardened targets. Actioned 01 January 2027
