Brentford East Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

To tackle the spike in motor vehicle crime during the football season. Lionel Road and surrounding area has been a target for criminals who break into cars during the Brentford football games. There has been an rise in reports after fans come back to their parked vehicles. Issued 01 January 2026 |
During match Days officers have been on high visability patrols showing a string policing presence. Actioned 31 March 2026 |

To tackle groups of youths whom often gain access into the underground car parks on mopeds and tamper with vehicles parked there. The result of this is antisocial behaviour which is a nuisance for the residents and staff. There have been reorts of thefts of pedal cycles, motorbikes and cars. Issued 01 January 2026 |
Targeted high visability patrols within the car parks. This is also done in conjuction with the secuirty Actioned 31 March 2026 |

To tackle the drug taking and dealing that occurs on the estates. This in turn causes anti social beahviour with communal locks often being broken. Issued 01 January 2026 |
Officers have been carrying out high visability patrols and linking in with security who have been jointly patrolling the communal hallways and reporting any broken doors so that they can be fixed. Actioned 31 March 2026 |
