Roehampton

Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Roehampton Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at Roehampton@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

Violence against the Person
We have received a number of recent reports of drug dealing in the vicinity of Frensham Drive and Stroud Crescent. Drug dealing is very much associated with violent organised crime groups, gangs and child criminal explotation via county line activity.

Issued 15 July 2025

Taking an intelligence led approach, we will monitor and assess information on a daily basis to build an accurate picture of drug activity. We will link people, locations and vehicles to corroborate our intelligence. We will work in collaboration with other teams to obtain and execute warrants, ensuring that tackling linked criminal activity is maximised across Wandsworth borough

Actioned 15 October 2025

Anti-social Behaviour
To proactively tackle anti-social behaviour around Alton Estate, SW15.

Issued 15 July 2025

We will monitor activity through proactive patrols and seek solutions using partnership oriented problem-solving strategies.. We will enforce ASB legislation available to us (CPW, CPNs) and enforce breaches. We will utilise other resources such as local authority community safety officers and housing departments to advise on the consequence of continued ASB.

Actioned 15 October 2025

Theft from Motor Vehicle
Recent analysis has highlighted a spate of thefts FROM vehicles in the in the vicinity of Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton.

Issued 15 July 2025

Officers will carry out directed patrols both on foot and cycles in order to reduce MV crime within the ward. Patrolling officers will identify insecure vehicles and make direct contact with the owners., Valuables left on show is one of the biggest drivers of vehicle crime and is largely avoidable. We will give advice around motor vehicle security, conduct community engagement events and make visits to victims of crime.
Working with neighbouring wards we will share information about potential offenders and identify linked series of offences via times of day, method of entry, items targeted etc
