Twickenham Riverside Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues
Twickenham Riverside Ward current priorities:
Robberies of personal property targeting school-age children - Twickenham High Street.
Dedicated ward officers conducting regular targeted patrols in uniform and plain clothes. Patrol areas are chosen using police data which has recorded previous crimes . Time, school dismissal has been proven to be a contributor to the offence, the ward officers continually asses the available crime data to utilise their time as efficiently as possible.
Theft , Shoplifting.
Theft retail has become a national problem , the ward has suffered in recent months .
Using crime data the ward officers have been able to identify venues which have suffered from a high number of offences , the ward officers will be targeting the venues with uniformed and plain cloth patrols ,

Anti Social Behaviour caused by Street Drinkers - Twickenham High Street
Dedicated ward officers believe early intervention is the key, officers will use crime data to identify those areas which have a high number of recorded incidents , the ward officers work with the local authority Park Guard , partnership working offers the option of both enforcement and guidance.
