Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Hampton Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Burglary focusing on residential burglaries Issued 12 October 2026	High visibility patrols in key areas around the Ormonds, Percy Road Broad Lane and Holy Bush Lane for residential burglaries and Station Road for commercial burglaries. Targeting of individuals who may be committing burglaries in the local area. Patrols being conducted at dusk to identify houses that may benefit from extra crime prevention advice, assistance requested from partners for CCTV. Actioned 18 October 2026
Anti Social Behaviour Issued 12 October 2026	Patrols and reassurance around Mason Close, Henning Close and Hammond Close due to recent reports of anti social behaviour in these areas. Focusing on key address that appear to produce a number of reports. Advice being given to local residents on how to report ASB to both ourselves and to our partners in the council. Working with local housing associations and the council to target offenders. Actioned 18 October 2026
Motor Vehicle Crime Issued 12 October 2026	High visibility patrols being conducted to target areas known for vehicle crime around Station Road, Oldfield Road and the Ormond's areas. Linked to burglary patrols in the area where vehicles are often the target of the burglaries. Actioned 08 October 2026
