St Helier West Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Drugs - possession and dealing continue to be a frequently reported around St Bennet Grove and Cleeve way Rosehill Issued 06 February 2026	We will endeavor to complete intelligence led targeting of hotspot locations and work with other teams and external agencies to tackle the issue. Motor vehicle crime and Anti Social Behaviour namely Winchcombe, Wigmore and Wendling roads Issued 06 February 2026	We will provide routine patrols where possible during the hours in which this crime type occurs. St Helier West – The Market Youth engagement to prevent ASB Concerns of Anti Social Behaviour in and around local business' during after school hours. Issued 06 February 2026	To work closely with local businesses to help identify offenders. Conduct High visibility Patrols targeted patrols at peak times to prevent and deter Anti Social Behaiovour. Liaise and work in close partnership with partners, including local security and schools to gather intelligence and engage with local youths. Actioned 31 May 2026
