Marlborough Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.
To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at Marlborough@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:
Priority | Action taken |
---|---|
Violence Against Women and Girls - VAWG - Marlborough Safer Neighbourhood Team is committed in the reduction of violent crime including those crimes committed against women and girls. This will be achieved through joint working with partner agencies and proactive policing, alongside community engagement events and speaking to those directly living and working in Harrow. Issued 19 September 2025 |
Daily patrols of the ward whilst engaging with members of the community on their individual perception of their safety. Also gaining an understanding of the issues they have identified within the ward. Along with increased patrols on Friday and Saturday evenings. Actioned 19 September 2025 |
Reduce reports of robbery across the ward, specifically phone theft by suspects on e-bikes. Issued 19 June 2025 |
Ongoing plain clothes and high visibility patrols in the known hotspot areas. Working closely with specialist trained units to conduct operations focused around e-bike phone thefts and robberies. Actioned 19 September 2025 |
Anti-Social Behaviour and Drug Offences Issued 19 June 2025 |
The team are proactively patrolling hotspot areas, providing a high visibility deterrent against offenders. Officers continue to conduct both plain clothes and high visibility patrols across the ward to target drug dealing. A recent operation run within the Marlborough ward resulted in numerous stop and searches resulting in a positive detection for drugs leading to further arrests and drug supply investigations. Officers continue to build a broader intelligence picture of key individuals concerned in drug supply across the ward with a target to target these individuals through a combination of stops and warrants under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. Actioned 19 September 2025 |
The word cloud below represents the issues raised by residents through their Local Matters survey. We take this into consideration along with discussions with stakeholders, ward panel meetings and conversations with the public when setting our key priorities
