Stonebridge Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Direct Patrols to The St Raphael’s and Stonebridge estate to tackle drug related Knife Crime Issued 13 November 2025	Officers within the Safer Neighbourhood Team have been assigned specific areas and priorities to manage, ensuring there is a designated point of contact for each issue. They have been tasked with patrolling certain locations at set times of the day to ensure a wide coverage of these priorities across the ward. Officers are continuing to use both covert and overt tactics to address these issues and will provide updates on the outcomes of these operations in due course. Actioned 19 November 2025
Direct patrols in the Stonebridge Park area to reduce Burglary and theft from motor vehicles. Issued 13 November 2025	Officers within the Safer Neighbourhood Team have been assigned specific areas and priorities to manage, ensuring there is a designated point of contact for each issue. They have been tasked with patrolling certain locations at set times of the day to ensure a wide coverage of these priorities across the ward. Officers are continuing to use both covert and overt tactics to address these issues and will provide updates on the outcomes of these operations in due course. Targeting of wanted offenders who are known for Burglary ensuring they are arrested at the earliest opportunity and progressed through the criminal justice system. Actioned 19 November 2025

Issued 13 November 2025	Establish a working group with business and site managers to share information on offenders and best practice for target hardening and crime prevention.
