Roundwood

Welcome to Met Engage,

We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.

Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.

This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Roundwood Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at Roundwood@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Priority Action taken

Violence against Women and Girls VAWG

Issued 10 December 2025

Officers are continuing their efforts to tackle violence against women and girls by addressing a wide range of offences where they are affected. The nature of these crimes spans from minor incidents to serious offences, which means victims come from a broad spectrum of situations. The team is working to combat all forms of crime in the area, aiming to ensure that women feel safe walking the streets and to reduce their fear of becoming victims. In addition, the team is planning operations involving both overt and covert patrols to protect women and girls in public spaces.

Theft from motor vehicles and theft of motor vehicles

Issued 10 December 2025

Officers are carrying out high-visibility patrols in known hotspots where vehicles are being targeted for theft. They are distributing crime prevention leaflets and providing advice to the public on how to secure their vehicles and remove valuables to reduce the risk of theft. Officers are also checking suspicious vehicles that may be stolen or abandoned, with the aim of returning them to their rightful owners. In addition, any mopeds acting suspiciously in the area are being stopped and checked, as they may also be stolen.

Actioned 10 December 2025

Tackling ASB including ongoing problems with local drinkers and drug users- Church Road, Fortunegate Road, Essex Road and Denzil Road. Homelessness, alcohol sales and violence against the person

Issued 10 December 2025

Officers are working with Harlesden Town Centre Team and the council to combat street drinking, utilising the use of Community Protection Warnings, Public Spaces Protection Order fines and other legislation. Officers are identifying addresses which are linked to drug activity and street crime, which contributes to ASB. Officers are utilising other tactics to reduce street loitering by local gangs as well as street drinkers.
