Higham Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Heightened patrols took place at targeted times, Officers will continue to work with Partner Agencies to find ways to tackle this problem over the following month to ensure no reoccurrence, but we ask the public to report any signs of potential drug dealing, no matter how small it may seem. Actioned 16 January 2026 |

Concerns have been raised around motorist speeding on Higham Hill Road and Sutherland Road E17, Priors Croft and Gloucester Road E17 Issued 07 November 2025 |
In response to this several Community Road Watch events have been carried out in order to tackle this issue as well as enforcement patrols with Council Partners as a result multiple tickets issued and vehicles seized. Officers will continue to conduct further Community Road Watch events. Dates, times and location will be publicised on the website and local residents are welcome to take part in the event.
