West Green
Welcome to Met Engage,
We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.
Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.
This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.
West Green Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.
To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at WestGreen@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:
| Priority | Action taken |
|---|---|
|
Ward Priority 1 – Anti-Social Behaviour in Lordship Recreation Ground Issued 10 March 2026 |
High-visibility proactive patrols will be conducted within Lordship Recreation Ground at key times identified through intelligence and community feedback to deter anti-social behaviour. Officers will actively disrupt offending behaviour and make use of appropriate Anti-Social Behaviour and Community Protection legislation, including warnings, Community Protection Notices and enforcement where necessary. Clear signage will be installed and maintained within the park to highlight the presence of a PSPO and outline prohibited behaviours. The Safer Neighbourhood Team will work jointly with Haringey Council, Parks Enforcement, and local community stakeholders to address environmental factors contributing to ASB, improve reporting, and support long-term problem-solving initiatives. Actioned 10 June 2026 |
|
Ward Priority 3 – Theft and Theft from Person in the Turnpike Lane Area Issued 10 March 2026 |
Intelligence-led high-visibility and plain-clothes patrols will be conducted in the Turnpike Lane area at peak times to deter theft and theft from person offences and identify repeat offenders. Officers will actively target known suspects and hotspot locations, utilising stop and search and other lawful powers where appropriate to disrupt criminal activity. The Safer Neighbourhood Team will work in partnership with local businesses, transport hubs and stakeholders to share information, support crime prevention initiatives and improve guardianship. Engagement activity will also be carried out to raise public awareness around personal safety and reduce opportunities for theft through targeted crime prevention advice. Actioned 10 June 2026 |
|
Ward Priority 2 – Anti-Social Behaviour, Drug Activity and Vehicle-Related Concerns on the Broadwater Farm Estate Issued 10 March 2026 |
High-visibility and plain-clothes patrols will be conducted across the Broadwater Farm Estate at times informed by intelligence and community concerns, with a focus on identifying and targeting those involved in anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity. Officers will proactively disrupt offending behaviour and utilise appropriate and lawful powers, including stop and search where grounds exist, to prevent crime and safeguard the community. Regular vehicle checks will be carried out across the estate to identify abandoned, obstructive or suspected stolen vehicles, working in partnership with relevant agencies to take appropriate action. The Safer Neighbourhood Team will work jointly with Haringey Council, housing providers and partner agencies to address environmental issues, improve information sharing and deliver coordinated, long-term problem-solving activity. Actioned 10 June 2026 |
