Seven Sisters Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.
To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at SevenSisters@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:
Priority | Action taken |
---|---|
Violence Related Priority - Concerns were raised by the community about Robbery and theft snatch offences at Seven Sisters Underground Station and the surrounding area. In response to this officers will perform a number of targeted patrols over the next three months, specifically but not exclusively at the Underground Station and High Road where the concentration of offences have occurred. This priority was retained by the ward panel on the 6th September. Issued 06 September 2025 |
A number of proactive operations have already been completed by the ward team including a knife arch and passive drugs dog operation within Seven Sisters underground Station resulting in a number of detections for drugs offences and arrests of wanted offenders and of those of interest to immigration authorities. Live Facial Recognition (LFR) Cameras have been employed on Tottenham High Road again producing a significant number of arrests for various offences. These operations will continue with the most recent deployment of a drugs dog leading to 68 stop and searches and multiple arrests for various offences including drugs possession and supply. Actioned 29 September 2025 |
ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour) - Local resident have reported ongoing anti-social behaviour in Brunswick Car Park. The issues highlighted relate to drug dealing and associated noise nuisance into the early hours of the morning. This priority was retained by the panel on the 6th September. Issued 06 September 2025 |
In order to reduce drug dealing and anti-social behaviour within the car park, the ward team have identified key times when offences have been reported. Patrols have been increased during these periods to maximise police presence. A number of stop and searches have been carried out with drugs being located and either arrests made or out of court disposal options utilised. Work continues in partnership with Haringey council to identify key individuals and premises linked to the noise nuisance. Once identified we will issue Community Protection Warnings (CPW) and Community Protection Notices (CPN) to prevent unreasonable behaviour that negatively impacts the quality of life of our local community. Patrols in the area are supplemented by officer from the Wood Green Town Centre Team when available Actioned 29 August 2025 |
Anti-Social Behaviour, Street Drinking in Manchester Gardens - Residents have raised ongoing concerns of nuisance behaviour stemming from alcohol consumption in the park and large groups gathering causing excessive noise and disruption to local community. Issued 06 July 2025 |
Officers have completed research to establish details of any recent reported incidents. Heightened patrols have taken place at targeted times to increase visibility and reassure the community. The team will engage with the council to identify any improvements that can be made to the park to deter nuisance behaviour. Patrols will take place at key offending times making use of the new PSPO and issuing fixed penalty notices where appropriate. Actioned 29 September 2025 |
The word cloud below represents the issues raised by residents through their Local Matters survey. We take this into consideration along with discussions with stakeholders, ward panel meetings and conversations with the public when setting our key priorities
