This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Hornsey Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Violence Related Priority - There is a long standing issue around ASB on the Ward and specifically around the Campsbourne Estate and neighbouring roads. Issued 08 July 2025	Working in partnership with local residents, local schools and the local authority to combat the anti-social behaviour at the location via an increased Police presence. Anti-Social Behaviour will be dealt with via identifying the offenders and issuing them with Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) warnings and Community Protection Warning (CPW) Notices. Motor Vehicle Crime - Increase in motor vehicle crime on Park Avenue and The Campsbourne N8. Issued 08 July 2025	Reduce Motor Vehicle Crime by performing High Visibility and plain clothes patrols. Provide reassurance and visibility to the local residents, whilst deterring and processing those offenders involved. Provide initiatives such as Crime Prevention leaflet drops to contact points.
