Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Violence Related Priority

Patrols of Parks & Open Spaces to include; Crucible Park, Millennium Gardens, Grove Road Gardens & ''green area'' of Essex Road.

Regular patrols & weapons sweeps are carried out across all locations stated. In addition, ''Walk & Talks'' are being arranged for Female residents. Joint Patrols with Park Guard are taking place across our parks/open spaces

High Road Chadwell Heath

Patrols around High Road Chadwell Heath including Grove Farm Retail Park, Grove Road & chadwell Heath Lane.

Hi visibility patrols of the High Road and visits to local businesses and retail parks. Crime prevention initiatives to be held at Grove farm retail park to address violence and theft related offences

Motor vehicle Crime

Ward patrols to target motor vehicle offences. Crime prevention initiatives to provide crime prevention advice to keep vehicles secure.

Plain clothes & hi visibility patrols to reduce motor vehicle offences across the ward. Late night patrols to deter offenders. Crime prevention stalls to be held at Grove Farm retail park to provide motor vehicle crime prevention advice.
