Hammersmith Broadway Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Violence Issued 20 March 2026 |
The Hammersmith Broadway team are committed to reducing violence on their ward, in particular violence linked to drug use. The team carry out proactive and high visibility patrols in the area, focusing on key hotspots. The team also work alongside partner agencies to ensure support services are offered to help prevent reoffending. Actioned 20 June 2026 |

Robbery / Theft offences Issued 20 March 2026 |
The team remain committed to reduce the number of Robberies within the ward. We have introduced Operation Linaetus, which has targeted Robberies within the ward, especially where victims have sometimes been of school age. The team have been working closely with local schools, providing crime prevention and personal safety advice. Through proactive and high visibility patrols, we are able to both detect and deter Robberies from taking place within the Ward. Actioned 20 June 2026 |

Anti-Social Behaviour Issued 20 March 2026 |
We understand the impact ASB (anti-social behaviour) can have to residents and businesses in the area. We work closely with the Local Authority's LET (law enforcement Team) through joint patrols and information sharing, ensuring we are aware of the most recent incidents and the key issues on the ward. We also work closely with the BID (business improvement district) for Hammersmith, sharing information and working closely with businesses to ensure ASB is reported, allowing us to intervene.
