Arrests made in Stratford Live Facial Recognition Operations

Over the last few weeks officers from the Stratford Town Centre Team and Stratford Safer Neighbourhood Teams have been supporting Live Facial Recognition deployments in Stratford. From this we have arrested a number of people who were wanted by police and by the courts for offences including burglary, theft, robbery and grievous bodily harm – and many more.

This has meant we have been able to bring some prolific offenders into custody and put them in front of the courts for serious offences.
