Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents. Good morning everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to thank residents for their continued support and engagement within our community.
One of the biggest challenges we face is that many people suffer in silence or assume the police should only be contacted during an emergency. In reality, we want to hear about issues before they reach that point. Whether it is anti-social behaviour, suspected drug activity, cuckooing, neighbour disputes, street drinking, individuals causing concern, or locations where you feel unsafe, your information helps us understand what is happening and where we need to focus our efforts.
🚔 Please report incidents and keep your CAD reference numbers.
Every time you contact police, a CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) reference number is created. These reports help us build a picture of what is happening in an area. Repeated reports can demonstrate ongoing problems, identify hotspots, support investigations, and help us direct resources where they are needed most. If incidents are not reported, we may not see the full extent of the issue.
How to report
✅ 999 - Emergency, crime in progress, immediate danger or risk to life.
✅ 101 - Non-emergency matters.
✅ Online Reporting https://www.met.police.uk/ro/report/
✅ Crimestoppers https://crimestoppers-uk.org
Crimestoppers allows you to report information anonymously. However, information provided through Crimestoppers can sometimes take longer to reach your local policing team than reports made directly to the Metropolitan Police.
We need your information
Please tell us about:
Suspected drug dealing or drug use. Cuckooing and exploitation of vulnerable people. Anti-social behaviour. Problem addresses. Locations where you feel unsafe. Emerging issues affecting the community.
What may seem like a small piece of information could be exactly what we need to take positive action.
Get involved with your local police
I would encourage all residents, local businesses, friends, family members and neighbours to sign up to Met Engage, our free two-way communication platform. It allows you to receive updates from your local officers and share concerns directly with us, as you know already being on here but we kindly ask you pass this information on.

Community policing works best when police and residents work together. We cannot be everywhere, but with your support we can identify problems earlier, protect vulnerable people, tackle crime and anti-social behaviour, and make Colville an even safer place to live, work and visit.
Thank you for your continued support. Please get involved, have your say, and help us make a positive difference in our community.
Across London we’ve put hundreds more officers on the frontlines of community crime-fighting teams, upping visible patrols in the right ‘hot spots’ so we can deter and catch criminals - including with new tech like live facial recognition cameras, drones and e-bikes. Antisocial behaviour can come in many forms and can require support from more organisations than just the police. A full list of what we categorise as antisocial behaviour is available on our website. If you have experienced anti-social behaviour or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk or call the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org Please consider getting involved by registering for these messages, this will enable you to contribute to the local priority survey. We may be unaware of issues that you would like us to focus on. Take a few minutes to securely and privately register and have your say using the button below, this will mean we can focus on things that matter to you. Please click here to complete the survey |
