Ruislip & Ickenham Safer Neighbourhood Teams Update |
||
|
Dear Residents, Ruislip & Ickenham Safer Neighbourhood Team officers have been proactively tackling shoplifting and anti-social behaviour on Ruislip High Street as part of our ongoing efforts to keep the area safe for residents, visitors and local businesses. As part of this work, officers have carried out a number of vehicle checks in relation to reports of vehicle nuisance and have been engaging with those identified as causing concern within the town centre. These proactive patrols recently resulted in the arrest of a male for public order offences following an incident involving retail staff. We are aware that a number of residents and members of the public may have witnessed this incident unfold on Ruislip High Street and may have concerns regarding what they saw. We would like to reassure the community that the matter was dealt with swiftly by officers and that there is no information at this time to suggest any further escalation relating to the incident. Incidents of this nature can understandably be concerning to witness; however, we remain committed to maintaining a visible presence in the area and taking positive action against those who commit offences or cause anti-social behaviour. We would like to thank local residents, businesses and visitors for their continued support. Information provided by the community plays a vital role in helping us identify issues and target our patrols where they are needed most. If you witness any criminality, anti-social behaviour or have concerns about activity in the area, please continue to report it to police. Thank you for your continued support.
