Wanted Suspect arrested on Edith Grove

On Wednesday night a Chelsea Safer Neighbourhood Officer was on foot patrol when a male was seen trying to enter a car. Suspect was recognised as wanted and challenged. He is known as a prolific offender.

Suspect ran off from officer but was chased down and detained. Male was arrested and taken into custody.

As well as deterring crime by conducting foot patrols, we sometimes turn a corner and something is happening right in front of us. 

Good for us and the community. Not a great evening for the suspect.
