Community safety week events are taking place throughout September 2026 at 228 Chingford Mount Road as part of the Waltham Forest Safe Streets campaign.

Event Details & Activities

Location: 228 Chingford Mount Road, E4

Dates: Throughout September 2026 (launched the week of September 21, 2026)

Key Activities:

Meet the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) teams and the Met Police Safer Neighbourhoods teams.

High-visibility patrols and violence reduction outreach.

Advice on how to quickly report crime and anti-social behaviour.

Public arts campaign ("We Are Chingford Mount - Summer Window Art Trail") in partnership with the Safe Streets team

Joint reassurance foot patrols in and around the Chingford Mount area alongside the Council Community Safety Team, ASB Officers and Neighbourhood Officers. The team initially patrolled Memorial Park, engaging with residents and park users before moving into the Chingford Mount area (E4), where further engagement took place with residents and local businesses to discuss community concerns and identify any emerging ASB hotspot locations.
