Appeal for Information: Vehicle Theft on Henderson Road SW18

Dear Wandsworth Common Community,

We are appealing for information following the theft of a blue Land Rover Defender from Henderson Road SW18.

The incident occurred at approximately 00:30am on Sunday 20 September 2026, when unknown suspect(s) stole the vehicle from outside the owner's residential address.

If you were in the area at the time and witnessed anything suspicious, or if you have any CCTV, doorbell camera, dashcam footage or other information that may assist the investigation, please contact police via 101 quoting the above CAD reference. Information can also be reported anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Crime Prevention Advice

Owners of Land Rover vehicles are encouraged to take the following precautions:

Use a steering wheel lock or other visible security device.

Store keys away from doors, windows and letterboxes.

Keep keyless entry fobs in a signal-blocking pouch (Faraday pouch) when not in use.

Ensure vehicles are locked and alarms activated.

Consider fitting additional security measures such as trackers, immobilisers or aftermarket alarms.

Park in a secure, well-lit location where possible.

Review and retain any CCTV footage that may assist in identifying suspicious activity.

We appreciate your assistance and ask residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour promptly. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could help with ongoing enquiries.
