ASB Parking Enforcement Operation - Arnold Road, E3

On Thursday 10 September and Friday 11 September 2026, the Tower Hamlets Task Force supported Tower Hamlets Council during a multi-agency anti-social behaviour (ASB) parking enforcement operation in Arnold Road, E3.

The operation was initiated following numerous complaints from residents regarding abandoned vehicles, fly-tipping, and the misuse of residential parking bays by local vehicle repair businesses. Several broken-down vehicles awaiting repair had been left in residents' parking bays for extended periods, preventing residents from parking close to their homes.

Results

Across the two-day operation:

16 vehicles were seized or removed.

Multiple enforcement notices were issued to local businesses.

Long-term abandoned vehicles were removed from the area.

Parking spaces were returned to legitimate residential use.

Environmental conditions were improved through the removal of fly-tipped waste and the cleansing of roads and footpaths.

Traffic offences relating to an obscured registration mark and driving without due care and attention were identified and dealt with.

The operation demonstrated the effectiveness of joint working between Tower Hamlets Task Force, Tower Hamlets Council departments, and THEO officers in addressing community concerns and improving the local environment for residents.
