Community Update | Police Execute a Warrant to Tackle Drug Crime in Tooting Broadway

Hello Residents,

Thanks to information provided by members of our community, Tooting Broadway Neighbourhood Officers were able to obtain a drugs warrant from the court.

On Saturday 5th September 2026, officers, supported by our Proactive Policing colleagues, executed the warrant at an address on Smallwood Road, SW17.

During the operation, officers seized almost 300 wraps of confirmed Heroin and Crack Cocaine, and arrested 2 individuals on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Both have since been charged with drug offences and were remanded to court on Monday.

This is a great example of how valuable information from the public can be used to help us tackle drug-related crime and make our neighbourhoods safer. Your reports help us build intelligence, take positive action, and disrupt criminal activity in our community.
