🚧 Advance Notice: Road Closures for Ealing Chariot Festival – Sunday 9 August 🚧

Residents are advised that the annual Chariot Festival organised by the Shri Kanaga Thurkkai Amman Temple will take place in West Ealing on Sunday 9 August 2026. Large crowds are expected to attend the event and a number of local roads will be affected by temporary closures and traffic restrictions. 

Road users should expect delays in and around:

Temporary diversions may be in place and local bus services could also be affected. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time and consider alternative routes where possible.
 

The festival is an important cultural and religious event and officers will be present to help keep attendees and road users safe. Please follow any directions given by stewards, event organisers or police officers.
