Waste Carrier Licence Enforcement Operation with the Council

Good afternoon Lea Bridge Residents,

Today, we carried out a joint enforcement operation, assisting the Council to tackle illegal waste carrying and fly-tipping within our community. 

During the operation, officers stopped and inspected a number of vehicles transporting waste. As a result:

These enforcement activities form part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our neighbourhoods clean, safe and free from environmental crime. Unlicensed waste carriers often contribute to fly-tipping, which has a negative impact on our streets, open spaces and local environment.
