Stolen vehicle found and returned to Chelsfield resident

Whilst attending the Chelsfield Village Fair, PCSO Pav Sandhu and PC Mano Vidamo had their attention drawn to a blue Nissan Juke.

PCSO Sandhu was aware that a blue Nissan had recently been reported stolen within our ward and, following some quick enquiries, it was established that this was indeed the stolen vehicle.

The owner was contacted immediately and arrived in Skibbs Lane within 30 minutes to recover their vehicle.

We had a great day engaging with residents at a wonderfully organised Village Fair, and to top it all off, we were able to reunite a very happy owner with their car.

A great result for the community and a reminder of the value of local policing and community engagement.
