Officers are never off Duty

We hope everyone is staying hydrated and cool in this heatwave. 

last week I had the pleasure of attending the Earls Court Square Annual BBQ and I would like to thank the residents for making me feel so welcome and feeding me yummy burgers. 

When I was on my way into work on Sunday, walking along Earls Court Road I came across a male who had stolen a lot of alcohol from the CO OP. I produced my badge and took the alcohol he was carrying from him and returned it to the store. I gathered the CCTV and the statement from the staff witness and a crime report has been put on so we can actively look out for the male and he can be arrested. My decision to deal with it this way was made on the basis that I did not have any PPE, I was not in uniform and no one knew where I was without my radio. 

APS Hunter and PC Martin were part of the Live facial recognition operation on EARLS COURT ROAD. We are pleased to report there were two (2) arrests made for wanted offenders.
