World Cup 2026 - Stay Safe

The World Cup 2026 is underway.

Tonight sees the first England game as the national team takes on Croatia.

The kick off is at 21:00hrs.

If you are going out to watch the game this evening - lots of pubs and other venues will be screening the game - then please stay safe.

Make sure your valuables are safely secured in pockets/side pockets.

If you see anything suspicious - let someone know - bar staff, security on the door and phone the police.

We want everyone to enjoy the game safely but please - be aware of your alcohol intake particularly during this hot spell - and make plans to get home safely.

Public transport/ walking home alone coupled with high levels of alcohol is not a good idea.
