🚨 Keeping Our Ward Safe 🚨

Did you know that “test purchasing” helps protect our community by ensuring age-restricted products like alcohol, tobacco, vapes, and knives are not sold to underage individuals?

Your ward officers have been visiting retailers across the ward this evening, we have utilised our Volunteer Police Cadets to do test purchasing by trying to buy alcohol and/or vapes, they were aged 14 & 17 years old, we do this across the ward to support responsible businesses and crack down on those breaking the law.

As well as this we have carried out weapon sweeps across the wards, thankfully no weapons were found.
