Worcester Park Pickpockets

We are seeing a rise in Pickpocket thefts in the area. There are some very simple things you can do to keep you and your belongings safe and not be an easy target. 

Firstly when you are out and about,  make sure that you have any bags closed and if possible keep the bag on your front side so its visible to you and no one will be able to reach for it. Thieves target pockets for anything they can get their hands on so a good idea is to keep your mobile and wallet in a jacket with a closed zip or failing that keep your hands in your pockets to deter the thieves from trying. Always keep an eye out for anyone/anything that looks suspicious and if in doubt phone police and inform us. Getting a description is very important in trying to track down these individuals in the event there is no CCTV available at the time.
