Dear Local Residents, Partners and Members of the Hammersmith Broadway Community,
The local Safer Neighbourhood Team remains committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents in the Hammersmith Broadway area.
Recently, we have carried out a range of activities, including high‑visibility patrols and plain‑clothes deployments targeting persistent local offenders involved in antisocial behaviour (ASB), criminality, and conduct that negatively affects the community.
We have also arrested several individuals and continue to focus on a proactive policing approach, organising deployments in line with intelligence provided by the local community. We are working to increase our visibility and engagement by attending community events and getting to know our residents, including through residents’ meetings, ward panels and other local gatherings.
In addition, we remain committed to a multi‑agency approach and work closely with local partners such as Hammersmith & Fulham Council (LET, CCTV, CSU, etc.), the Hammersmith Business Improvement District (BID), the Safer Business Network, The Broadway Shopping Centre, Livat Shopping Centre, local retailers (Ikea, TK Maxx, BP, Boots, Primark), local schools and other agencies.
So far in 2026, we have conducted 24 stop‑and‑searches and made 17 arrests. Most of the offenders were charged and remanded in custody to attend court.
