AI Voice-Cloning scam

We're sharing a crime-prevention update regarding a scam currently circulating in the UK.

🎙️AI Voice-Cloning Phone Scam

Scammers are making unsolicited phone calls claiming to carry put a “Life Style” or “Consumer” Survey.

During the call, they aim to record your voice and gather personal information. Criminals may then use AI Technology to

imitate your voice when contacting banks or service providers.

🔒How to Protect Yourself

Hang up on unexpected survey or financial calls

Avoid giving personal details to unknown callers.

Never share bank or security information over the phone.

Be cautious about repeating long phrases to unfamiliar callers.

Contact your bank immediately if you notice anything unusual

Report anything suspicious to Action Fraud on https://www.reportfraud.police.uk/
