Local Patrols Result In Drug Arrest

Local Ward Officers make an arrest on North Woolwich Road E16.

At 1630 Royal Victoria Dock Officers were undertaking a plain clothes operation when they observed two individuals taking photographs of residential blocks along North Woolwich Road (adjacent to Barrier Park) E16. When officers engaged the individuals, they attempted to flee the scene but were subsequently detained. The following search resulted in a quantity of cannabis and stolen mobile phones being discovered… One suspect was arrested and returned to Leyton Custody for charging.
