News stories about gender-based violence and exploitation are becoming increasingly visible. For many people, this can feel overwhelming or triggering.
Itβs okay to step away from social media. Itβs okay to pause. Take time to check in with yourself and with those around you.π
Support is available, and you are not alone: π€ If youβd like to talk about how these stories are affecting you, consider speaking with someone you trust or reach out to Kooth or Mind in Bexley.
π€ If you have experienced exploitation or abuse β or are worried about someone who may be at risk β specialist support services are available, including Solace Womenβs Aid in Bexley, Rape Crisis, the Modern Slavery Helpline, or Victim Support.
π¨ In emergencies, always call 999.
