I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. On Saturday afternoon, officers were called to reports of gunshots in the area of Cricklewood Broadway, NW2. Officers attended and located a man in his 20s suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life threatening or life changing. During enquiries at the scene, officers confirmed that a firearm had been discharged. No arrests have been made at this stage, and enquiries remain ongoing. Local officers will be in the area providing reassurance to residents.
The investigation is being led by Specialist Crime in partnership with local officers. Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area of Cricklewood Broadway on Saturday 7th February 2026 at around 1:15pm, or who may have seen or heard anything suspicious. Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101, quoting CAD 3548/07FEB26. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
