Trading Standards on Deptford High Street

I just wanted to update you that we were out and about on Deptford High Street last week with the Lewisham Council Trading Standards Team. If you were there on Friday you may have noticed police and enforcement officers everywhere!

Your local police and council were targeting the sale of illegal and counterfeit goods:

Five venues were visited and a quantity of illicit tobacco and counterfeit clothing was recovered. A small amount of cannabis was also recovered and one male was arrested for breaching his community protection notice.

We do these operations based on the intelligence given to us. You, the public, tell us what to do, and if we can, we shall do it.
