Dispersal Order Croydon Town Centre 23/01/26

A Section 35 Dispersal Order has been put in place between 1400-2300 on Friday 23rd January 2026 in Croydon Town Centre. This includes the area within the boundary of Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, Roman Way, Croydon Flyover, Barclay Road, Addiscombe Road, Cherry Orchard Road, Lower Addiscombe Road and St James Road.

This is due to intelligence received about a “Blind Date” TikTok trend. Yesterday this event was held in Sutton Town Centre which led to over 300 young people attending and causing large-scale Anti-Social Behaviour and disorder. A Section 35 Dispersal Order was put in place covering Sutton Town Centre as a result of this incident.

Our top priority is safeguarding young people, preventing disorder and ensuring that large groups are not congregating around busy transport hubs. We appreciate everyone's efforts to assist us.
