Bike Marking at Surbiton YMCA 1200 - 1430 31/12/25 |
||
|
Getting a new bike for Christmas for yourself or someone else?
On New Year’s Eve we're offering free bike security marking at Surbiton YMCA, Victoria Road between 12:00 - 2:30pm (early enough that you won’t miss any New Year’s celebrations!)
New Years Eve bike marking at the YMCA is via appointment only (as we are using their property we need to limit the number of people potentially bringing bikes to be marked at any one time). We’re offering specific booking time slots, so if you’d like to attend please email berrylands@met.police.uk or send us a message via Met Engage with your preferred time. If it has already been allocated we will look to offer you a space as close to it as possible.
CURRENT AVAILABLE SLOTS 1200, 1210, 1220, 1240, 1250, 1300, 1310, 1320, 1330, 1340, 1350, 1400, 1410, 1420, 1430
Bike marking acts as a deterrent to potential thieves and increases the possibility of getting your bike returned in the event of it being stolen and recovered. For more info on the bike marking process visit https://www.bikeregister.com/advice/how-it-works (watch the video for the “Membership Plus” scheme) or see the attached “Why Get Your Bike Marked” document. If you’re not available on New Year’s Eve but would be interested in getting your bike marked another time, email us to arrange.
***If possible, please book before 3pm on Christmas Eve***
