Invitation:- PICKPOCKET AWARENESS CRIME PREVENTION STALL - Ilford Exchange. 

PCSO Sethi from Ilford Town Ward would like to invite residents, shoppers, and business to a crime prevention stall focused on raising awareness around pickpockets and distraction thefts. 

Date:- Wednesday 26th November 2025. 

Time:- 09.00 - 15.00.

Location:- Ilford Exchange Shopping Centre (2nd Floor).

The event aims to provide the community with practical advice on how to stay alert in busy environment's, and recognise common techniques used by pickpockets. With the shopping centre being a high-foot fall area, this is an ideal opportunity to speak directly with your local policing teal and learn useful tips to help reduce the chance of becoming a victim of opportunistic thefts. 

During this event, you will be able to:-

Receive crime prevention advice on keeping bags, phones, and valuable's secure. 

Learn how distraction thefts commonly occur. 

Speak to your local officers about concerns in the Town Centre.
