Dear Valley Ward Members,
The main British Legion Remembrance Day service in Chingford E4 will be at the Chingford War Memorial, located at the junction of King's Head Hill, with the service starting around 10:45 AM on Sunday 9 November 2025. Prior to this, a parade will assemble at 10:00 AM at the Chingford Fire Station on The Ridgeway and will depart at approximately 10:30 AM. Service details What: Waltham Forest Civic Service of Remembrance, supported by the Chingford branch of the Royal British Legion. When: Sunday, 9 November 2025
Where: Chingford War Memorial, junction of King's Head Hill After the service: Wreath laying will take place, followed by a two-minute silence. The service will be followed by another service at the Church of Ss Peter and Paul.
