Metropolitan Police - Political neutrality

Dear Resident

I write to you as your local police Inspector in charge of Putney cluster neighbourhood team. 

In light of upcoming elections in 2026, I would like to remind residents that the Metropolitan Police remain politically neutral.

If you are interested in local policing issues affecting where you live, please check out the events page of your local team on Met Engage. Each ward holds quarterly meetings whereby local concerns are raised and discussed along with initiatives and projects from partner agencies.
