🚫 Anti-Social Behaviour | A United Hounslow Response

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) impacts everyone—from families and businesses to young people and visitors. In Hounslow, we’re taking a joined-up approach to tackle ASB effectively, fairly, and with long-term impact.

🔍 What is ASB?

ASB includes a wide range of behaviours that cause harm, distress, or disruption. In Hounslow:

Police focus on crime-related ASB, such as drug dealing, intimidation, persistent harassment, and street drinking.

Hounslow Council (Local Authority) addresses civil ASB, including noise nuisance, fly-tipping, and issues in public and green spaces.

🤝 Working Together for Safer Streets

Police and Council teams are collaborating through:

Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) to restrict repeat offenders

Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) to manage street drinking and nuisance behaviour

Regular community safety meetings to share intelligence and shape local taskings

Joint patrols and enforcement in hotspot areas

This partnership is already delivering real results—reducing repeat ASB, improving public confidence, and making Hounslow safer.

👥 Youth Engagement & Diversion

We’re working with schools, youth services, and community groups to:

Promote positive choices and safe spaces for young people

Support diversion away from ASB through mentoring, sports, and creative programmes

Encourage young voices in shaping safer neighbourhoods

🏪 Supporting Businesses

Businesses are key partners in tackling ASB. We’re helping:

Identify and report persistent issues around premises

Improve security and environmental design

Share intelligence to support enforcement and prevention

📣 Your Role Matters

We need your input and local knowledge to help us target the right areas and individuals. You can:

Report crime-related ASB to police via 101 or online

Report civil ASB (noise, fly-tipping, etc.) to Hounslow Council

Speak to your local ward officer or council ASB team

Join community safety groups or attend local meetings
