Phone Snatchers

This afternoon on Freemasons Road, two males dressed in black and wearing balaclavas attempted to snatch a phone from an unsuspecting pedestrian.

Fortunately, PCSO Etheve was nearby and intervened, causing the suspects to flee the scene. Emergency Response Teams carried out an area search, but our suspects had already sped away and gone into into hiding.

Please remain vigilant when out and about. Keep phones tucked away and if you have to use them in the street, stand away from the road and look out for speeding cyclists wearing face coverings.
