Violence Against Women and Girls Initiative - Residents feedback

Hello residents of Northolt.

The MET Police Service is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents in our community, in particularly women and girls. The National Police Chiefs’ Council and College of Policing have stated that violence against women and girls (VAWG) is a “national emergency”. And according to NPCC VAWG makes up just under 20% of all recorded crime in England and Wales (2024).

With that being said, we are actively working to address and prevent violence against women and girls (VAWG) and we want to hear from you to better understand your concerns and experiences by collecting feedback on areas where you feel unsafe, as well as any information you may have regarding incidents related to VAWG in our community. Your input is crucial to helping us identify hotspots, improve safety measures and allocate resources effectively.

You can share your feedback here on Met Engage, alternatively through Street Safe (see QR below).

Thank you!
