🟢 MET ENGAGE – COMMUNITY UPDATE (Addison Ward) 🟢

Please review the following update regarding Anti Social Behaviour which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Dear Residents,

We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to take a moment to provide a brief update on recent policing activity in your area and reassure you about the ongoing work to keep our community safe.

Recent Arrests and Police Activity
Over the past three weeks, officers from your local policing team have made several key arrests from facial recognition operation, regular patrols which resulted in stop and searches and community protection warning issued, which has reduced ASB.

We continue to work with our partners and local stakeholders to address issues that matter most to you. Additionally, we have had residents send us images of certain individuals, who have been causing anti-social behaviour, which helps officers in stop and searches and allows use to give community protection warnings and notices to individuals who are causing harassment, alarm and distress.

Community Engagement and Patrols
We’ve increased visible patrols in key areas highlighted by residents during recent ward panel meetings and from emails regarding ASB.

How You Can Help
We always value the community’s support. If you see anything suspicious or have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to report it to us (Addison.snt@met.police.uk). You can speak to an officer directly, call 101, or report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our community safe.

Kind Regards,
PCSO Sowidzki

Antisocial behaviour can come in many forms and can require support from more organisations than just the police. There are 13 different types of antisocial behaviour that we may be able to help with, including abandoned vehicles, littering or drugs paraphernalia and street drinking. A full list of what we categorise as antisocial behaviour is available on our website.

If you have witnessed or experienced antisocial behaviour, you can report it online.

If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk/, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org
