Crimes reported over the weekend

An update on the incidents reported over the weekend:

A mental health incident near The Green - police were called by the London Ambulance Service after a male was seen acting suspiciously. On arrival, Officers found him to be behaving aggressively and using racially abusive language. It later became apparent that he was experiencing a mental health crisis, showing signs of psychosis and hallucinations. He was detained under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act and taken for medical care, as custody was not considered appropriate. There were also some allegations of exposure which are being looked into.

Domestic incident - Officers responded to a report of domestic abuse after an ex partner turned up at the victims address in an intoxicated state, shouting and allegedly making threats. Enquiries are ongoing and support is being offered to the victim.

A car window was smashed on Church road, although nothing was stolen from the vehicle. Unfortunately there were no witnesses, CCTV or further lines of enquiry.

A workplace assault occurred between two workers on a job site. Officers attended and are investigating the circumstances further.
