Attempted Residential Burglary of Home |

Dear Resident,
The following incident occurred on Thursday 31st July 2025 at 03:00 hours on FLEETWOOD ROAD, KINGSTON, victim (female) order a takeaway and the food was delivered and left outside front door. 10 minutes after delivery the victim came to the front door to retrieve the food order. As the victim was opening the front door a male suspect started pushing on the door to attempting to push through. Victim (female) quickly and forcefully managed to shut and lock the front door call the 999.
Male suspect has left prior to police arrival. Area searched was conducted by officers with no trace of suspect.
Suspect description, MALE, approximate age 30 years old, balding, medium built, pale complexion middle eastern, height unknown.
If a person is forcing their way through your door, immediately call 999. Do not attempt to confront the person yourself. Focus on your safety and the safety of anyone else in the home.
After calling 999: If possible, move away from the door and into a secure room, and lock the door behind you. Try to remain calm and observe the situation to provide details to the police. Avoid any direct confrontation with the person forcing entry. If you can safely observe, make note of the suspect's appearance, clothing, and any distinguishing features, as well as the direction they went after entering. Stay where you are and wait for the police to arrive. They will assess the situation and take appropriate action.
