Crime update - What's been happening in your area

Good afternoon,

 

Over the past week there has been:

 

  • Three Juveniles arrested for robbery that occurred within the town centre. Officers responded swiftly and the three juveniles were apprehended near The Green.
  • A residential burglary occurred on Friars Stile Road. One adult male was caught on the scene and has been arrested and charged. 
  • A sexual assault occurred in Boots on George St, whereby a male inappropriately touched a female customer. The male was arrested and has been charged.
  • There was a by shoplifting from Anthropolgie. An excess of £300 worth of goods were stolen. A male has been arrested and charged for the offence.
