Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message |
||
I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.
Officers from Northolt Mandeville, Central Greenford and North Greenford were conducting regular patrols when they noticed a stolen vehicle and pulled it over, Officers quickly detained the driver and passenger. A S23 MDA search of the occupants and vehicle led to the driver being further arrested for possession of Class B, Handling Stolen Goods, Going Equipped and Driving Whilst Unfit Through Drink/Drugs. The Victim of the car theft was reunited with their car, which luckily had not been damaged in anyway it seemed, and a statement was provided to aid the prosecution of the offender(s), who both now await their day in court. We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
